Hello everyone. It's is soooo good to be on Cute again. I know we all have lots of catching up to do. I am doing OK. More medical issues but none that are life threatening. Just affect my energy levels and stamina. But being on Cute again is such a boost. My Handsome Hubby found the site. Yup, he's the best.

Hi Karen - it’s so good to see you here again. Sorry to hear about your health issues, but glad you are managing them okay. I was really grateful to see Cute back up on-line this summer and do a bit of catching up, too. As you can see below, a few of the former members had dropped in, but it looks like no one has posted here in the past 6 weeks. I hope they are all still checking in from time to time. I did see in comments somewhere that the site is still in test-mode. Maybe others will return once the site is finished upgrading. I don’t know of any other sites/groups where folks from here are posting but I hope many will come back, as this is my favorite embroidery community. Again, it’s good to see you here, and take care.

Hi Karen. So glad to see you here. You had me worried. I usually check in every day, but there is not much activity so far, For me it is so great to see the familiar avatars. Hopefully more of the Cuties will be checking in.
I kow it is tough when the energy level is low. Hopefully you will get better every day.
Hugs Angie

Hi Karen, so good to see your smiling face again. I've been busy doing mainly repairs etc. not much machine embroidery. I'm off to see my sister on Tuesday 13th October over in South Australia and won't have any time to sew.
Everyone in our family is doing well. Ben our eldest got married (2nd time round) to a wonderful woman Mia (she has 4 children, 25, 23, 18 and 13 - 2 boys then 2 girls) What with Ben's 3 boys it was a big family. Thankfully the 2 boys have moved out and when Ben gets his boys alternate weekends there's still 5 kids! Food just seems to disappear!! Cooper (Ben's eldest boy will be 17 in November) can't wait to get his P's for driving. It means he doesn't have to have a responsible adult driving with him. He has had his L's (Learner licence) for a year and this next one he has for 2 years before he can become a fully qualified driving licence holder.
Dana's kids Ryke is nearly 21 and Jasana 19 and Aqualina 16 (left school this February) and is working for her father, at a chemist and a bit of help at Dana's school. We were disappointed that she left school in Year 11, but she had had enough of the bitchiness of the girls in her Year!!!
Amy's 2 girls Ophelie 16 and Delphi 13 are loving school and Ophelie is doing sewing - Yeah!!!! I've loaned her my Husqvarna Ruby Deluxe for her to use at home whilst she is making a denim skirt (using recycled jeans) I can't wait to see the finished product. It's school holidays here at the moment and we've had Ben's boys a bit, but the girls prefer to be with their girlfriends these days!! Don't blame them.
It's my birthday on Saturday 10th October and Trev and I are going to Wyong - about a 45 minute drive away from our place to see an Australian Brother singing act who cover the Everly Brothers, songs from the 60's onwards and a gread singer called Dean Bourne who takes off Roy Orbison, he's brilliant! On Sunday the family are coming over to celebrate my birthday and to help do some Spring cleaning inside. Ben and the 2 younger boys came over on Monday (a public holiday) and washed down the house. We were all pretty tired afterwards. Then on Tuesday as I said at the beginning I'm off to South Australia to spend 2 weeks with my sister over in Tumby Bay on the far west coast of South Australia. Looking forward to having some relaxing time with her. I pray that your medical issues are on the mend and that you have a wonderful Autumn. Love Chris
