Try Google search for vintage patterns.
1. I made this one when I was about 11. I don't think it is a detachable bib but you could take any similar pattern and finish off the waistband like a normal skirt. Put buttons on the inside of the waistband. Extend the bib length by about 1 1/2 inches and add buttonholes.

Thanks for your reply sewmom - I'm glad I could take you back in time. I really thought these jumpers were so cute when I saw them. The Vendor had them displayed at the Carolina Craftmen as much as 10 or so years ago. Now that I am getting into machine embroidery, I think it would be a nice way to show off embroidery/applique designs.
