I only met Lillian online but have found her to be a totaly delightful person. Funny thing is, we were both from Macon, Ga and we went to the same High School and we never met. I would dearly love to meet her and have a long visit and catch up on "old times" that we should have been making news together a couple of years ago when we were in school...OKAY....so I may have just skipped a few years in there b-u-t to save my life, I just can not figure out where those years went to! Life happens and somtimes we snooze and we miss out on what could have been.
I hope you had a wonderful visit. Maybe, one of these days I will get to meet Lillian in person. We still have old times, common interest, and Macon in common. Right after I moved from Macon, the city started building it's 1st interstate hwy. My Mom was there until a year before she passed away so The interstate was just another small change for the town to me...BOY, look at it now. Large towns seem to get larger and larger and the small towns seem to get smaller and smaller. Oops, my age is creeping up on me this morning! Here I am in the Atlanta area and I am a small town girl in my heart. I do not know if my body could stand another move but my heart is still back home where I was for 30 + years! What a great surprise - I wish I had known that she was going to be in Orlando - We are not far from there, and she had to go down the interstate probably about 8 miles from my house. Maybe next time.

How much fun it would have been to meet up with some of our cute family on our drive back from Florida. My sister and I just left Bradenton on Thursday morning and arrived here in Toronto this afternoon. A long and tiring drive but the weather cooperated...Came up on several routes and then crossed over into Canada at Buffalo, NY...Maybe someday we will get a chance to stop and meet some of our Cuties along the way..How nice that you got to spend time visiting Sara & Lillian....hugs Glenda x0x0x0
