I bought this bear because it can be personalized. When I unzipped the bottom and removed the bag of stuffing and tried to hoop it, it was too small for the hoop. I was so disappointed I really wanted to personalize this cute little bear. Then I thought of making it a personalized necklace and I really like how it turned out. I took it over to my daughter's house to show her and she sent me home with 2 of Marie and Christianna's bears hahaha so I guess she thought it was cute too.

You did a wonderful job on the little necklace. Saw that someone made a name patch and whip stitched it onto their bear.

It looks lovely. Pity you could not hoop it. I thought a bear that can be personalised should be designed to be hooped in some way. Did you try hooping the stabiliser and pinning the bear onto it?

I tried everything, the only place I could hoop it that it fit under the machine was way low down on the belly almost near the legs and I did not like that. It's head kept getting in the way and I even tried using the small 2x2 hoop. I had seen one made at my brother dealer and asked her how to do it and she said she did hers on the 6 needle machine. They make another bear that is bigger so if I ever have another baby gift to make I will get the next bigger bear and try again. If it doesn't work it too will get a necklace hahaha
