This is the finished design. Sorry the sparkle doesn't show up in photo, but it is there! I even laid it in the sun. This is stitched on a piece of embossed type felt. The design is from Purely Gates.com. I love these butterflies!

Very pretty, but I am confused about mylar. I tried to research it some, but I guess I am getting it confused with what I thought was pattern plastic mylar. Are most designs to be stitched on this more like colorwork, or RW?

I found the Mylar at Party city in the gift wrap section. Designs are light filled to let the iridescence come through. I put one on an embossed design and it looks great.

Lynn, you must try some of your beautiful designs with Mylar and let us know. maybe remove the under stitching. Just an idea.
