but after a while and cups of tea and coffee we got Pulse Ambassador up and after much sorting out on her behalf we started to work our way through conversion, at the crucial moment she went off for a fag/cigarette and left me to get on with it. After she said she was finding it difficult. Lo and behold with a minimum clicks on the mouse we/I had converted our first design...
It was easy. So if there are fellow Cuties out there who dont know how to convert from one format to another HAVE A GO.
I am now wondering why I avoided this for ages, literally years. So now I have some more designs to sew but as per usual not the time to sew.

I use Buzz Edit for many things and also conversion. It is 3 clicks of the mouse.

I'm having difficulty using this sotware for conversion although I found it easy with Embird. Unfortunately my trial has finished so I would appreciate some hints to get me started.

Sue you need to download the Pulse Ambassador programme from the internet, then when this is done put the design you want to convert onto/into somewhere else, we put it on a floppy disk but I expect that it could go on the desktop or a memory stick. Open the conversion softwear then bring the design in you are converting, then read carefully what it is telling you to do and literally one or 2 clicks and it is done. PM me if you need further help

I've tried the methods in each of these tutorials, but my Machine cannot read the resulting file. It seems that all that has changed is the file extension. When I used Embird it took a couple of seconds to do the conversion.

But don't you have to change all the colors after conversion? I use Wilcom. And avoid converting like the plague because the colors come out the other side all messed up! In a complex design, it's too much work! But for simple, I guess it's worth it.

For how long can you use Ambassador free or is there no time limit and can u use it for ever. Is it only a convertor or can it do other things as well i.e. resizing, editing, etc. *4U. make it a lot of *'s

Oh i sew know the feeling. Had Meg over a while back and she d/loaded pulse for me. I was doing so well, when DH come home i dragged him into the study to show off and be damed i couldnt remember. Then 2 days later i fly to Brisbane and havevt been back hone, Watch out Meg when i do return ")")")
