Yes it works. I used Mylar instead of solvy on the top of design and it works.

very nice...love the bit of glitz you get from the mylar...I might have to try this on my embossed designs..love the look..

Don't know if it will work on all embossed but it did on this one. Just go for it. It certainly serve as a topping.

The ones I have stitched have gone straight to the shop to sell. I plan to put one on my granddaughter's t-shirt. I should get good feedback from my daughter.

It is supposed to wash, but I have not personally washed so I really can't say.

Mylar is the stuff used to make those matalic looking balloons. It's also used for wraping gifts. It looks a bit like foil except it isn't made of metal.

Not the same as the balloon stuff. This is found in the gift wrap section. it is iridescent Looking cellophane.
