Meg, I am so sorry to hear that you vision has gotten worse. I, too, suffer from vision problems, having to have both of my lenses surgically removed when they detatched within eighteen months of eachother. I see fine right in front of me but have no periferal vision and am constantly running into things. So I know how precious site is. Please, please take good care of yourself and I shall be praying that your new spectacles will restore your vision to 20/20. Hugs and Roses to You too.***Marjorie

I'm off to the hairdressers and into Thorpes to see if they can get my 4D programme running. I've had all sorts of problems since the new computer, can't download a thing!

Thank God the guru is up in Newcastle today!

Make sure you do as you are told and rest those eyes - they are one of the most precious things we have.

Have you seen an opthamologist?
I did and discovered I had the beginnings of glaucoma and cataracts which the optometrist had not picked up! I now have to use eye drops every night and my sight has improved.

Meg please take care of you we need you it would be so bad if we did not get to see you on line we love your designs but we also love you more take care of your eys. I can see now after wearing glasses all my life that were so thick I just happend up on a doctor that fixed my eyes and I am so happy about that .here I am 72 years old and wore glasses all my life could not even wear contacts and now don't have to just to read real small prient it is so wonderful. belive me I do take care of them.

I have been a good girl today, only did a webinar this morning and answered a couple of emails.
The old glasses I'm using are OK up close but everything else I see is in triplicate.

Having eye tests are really painful as the astigmatism causes the letters to jump around the screen and go all wavy, (I call them dancing letters) and my eyes strain to stop the movement and align all the letters correctly. Evidently the astigmatism has worsened as well as my distance and close up vision. I had a headache all night after the testing and didn't sleep well.

But at least there was no sign of Glaucoma, Cataracts or Macula degeneration, photo's of retinas were both good.

You know what makes me REALLY annoyed?

90 year old MIL only needs reading glasses and can even read her crosswords without her glasses.
I keep chiding her about how lucky she is, I can't get out of bed without mine. LOL!!!

OK, that's me for tonight, hurts my eyes too much.

I know how you feel. I too have very bad astigmatism and cant see a darn thing without mine. As well if I dont have them I get a headache very soon. Rest and wait for new specs you will be up and running soon. Hugs Lisa
