I had my eye tests done today and my eyesight has deteriorated again, so I need to give them a rest for a couple of weeks while I am waiting for my new spectacles.
I thought they had got worse as I have found myself using the large magnifying glass more often lately and I could no longer read the cable tv menu from the breakfast bar. I found myself standing about 3 feet away from the screen. LOL!!!
Anyway, I'm going to say goodnight now and get some sleep instead of burning the midnight oil like I always do. :-)
Hugs n roses to all, Meg

Take good care of that eyesight. Rest will do you a lot of good....Barb
I'm a bit late in answering but hope you had a good nights sleep. Now look after that eyesight, don't forget we are going shopping in June & you'll have to see what you're buying. LOL

I'm off to the hairdressers and into Thorpes to see if they can get my 4D programme running. I've had all sorts of problems since the new computer, can't download a thing!
Thank God the guru is up in Newcastle today!
Make sure you do as you are told and rest those eyes - they are one of the most precious things we have.
Love and blessings Chris
Not only on digitizing but I am sure other jobs may have to wait also.. Your whole body should get a good rest also. Hope this works for you. And just remember 'I'll B watching U'....hehehe....
Love Kerry.
I did and discovered I had the beginnings of glaucoma and cataracts which the optometrist had not picked up! I now have to use eye drops every night and my sight has improved.

I have been a good girl today, only did a webinar this morning and answered a couple of emails.
The old glasses I'm using are OK up close but everything else I see is in triplicate.
Having eye tests are really painful as the astigmatism causes the letters to jump around the screen and go all wavy, (I call them dancing letters) and my eyes strain to stop the movement and align all the letters correctly. Evidently the astigmatism has worsened as well as my distance and close up vision. I had a headache all night after the testing and didn't sleep well.
But at least there was no sign of Glaucoma, Cataracts or Macula degeneration, photo's of retinas were both good.
You know what makes me REALLY annoyed?
90 year old MIL only needs reading glasses and can even read her crosswords without her glasses.
I keep chiding her about how lucky she is, I can't get out of bed without mine. LOL!!!
OK, that's me for tonight, hurts my eyes too much.
Hugs n roses to you all and to all a Good Night.
