I was looking at the projects and noticed boo305 picture of her sewing room and thought wow, mine to such a mess. I'm not too proud to show you my little corner of the house and my big green monster sewing cabinet. Now this is a mess! You would think that i would have room for a sewing room in this big old victorian house, but not. I have to wait for at least one of the kids to fly from the nest. I can picture it now.... :) So here are some pics and yes you can laugh or cry for me...lol

My goodness was at sweet and organized corner - when you get a full room - you will not know what to do with all the space. This is lovely!

that is so awesome! i love it! i had limited space to work with in my little ipswich-ian home in QLD. wish i had a second linen cupboard somewhere so i could put all my fabric into the one next to my sewing station, as all my fabric is in crates.

Cry, oh no. It looks organized and ready to use. Now mine is a mess. I am in the middle of a project and have stuff piled everywhere. But I can find what I need in spite of it. I promise it will be cleaned up when I finish this project (until I start the next one anyway).

i think that is my problem too! there's piles of stuff all over the shop.. ridiculous. one would think that you'd start and finish a project. not have 10 on the go!

Your sewing corner is wonderful. I like the green monster close the door and everything disappears, out of site out of mind. My fabric sits is plastic boxes on the porch and my dinning room table is my cutting and work table. My sewing machine is also in the dinning room along with my computer and printer. As soon as my college grad son moves out I will have a grand room for sewing. He is engaged but the wedding date has not been set. Lordy, Lordy make it quick!!

hi Cindy B... i have used our dinning room many times too. When i'm sewing curtains or prom, or wedding party dresses it's just much easier there. I don't have a big table in my corner but it works. I still have 3 at home but i think one is almost ready to fly...lol

me too, i didn't make any big curtains. I love to see out. Up stairs we can see the bay and it's beautiful. I would love to build a deck off our bedroom.

hi noah,,, i have 4 children and my partner has 2. We have 3 left at home and i'll really miss them when they do move out but i too dream of that perfect sewing room. Have you seen the movie, failure to launch? If not you should, it is a belly busting with laughter movie. I tell my kids i'm going to run around naked so they will move out...lol

You have a very nice "feel-good room" with lots of space and light. :)
