April 23, 2010, I have wanted to try making this hotair balloon ever since I saw it at Stitch Delight and when their site had everything on a $3.50 sale, I grabbed it.

I made this one for the birth of my son's second baby, due in July. Hopfully I will be visiting them in Kuwait for the occasion. The pattern stitched out beautifully but I had to make my own changes, I didn't like that every side was the same design lol I changed each side to have a rw baby design.
I love how easy it was to get the round shape, the instructions were very clear.


I didn't know where to get a tiny teddybear for the basket so did a search in my patterns, for the pensil toper toys and used this bunny that was a freebie for Easter. Also the decorative band on the basket was a bit short so I added the cute button to fill the space.
