thing but as far as I know it does not have a clinical name or the family just has not said. It is a condition where with minimal stressful exercise will cause his heart to feel like it is beating out of his chest, which his uncle says is very painful. Over time his heart will enlarge until it has no room left go and the lining of his heart will thicken increasingly over the years. They say it can be controlled some by diet and he can no longer play any of his games that he loves so much. Jayden had just gone to his T-ball teams 1st practice when they finally got the results and can no longer play ball. He a very typical little boy that loves all the things that all "boys" love to do. The dr.'s also had put a 2nd monitor on him and it failed to work correctly so they have ordered another one for him that should be in anyday now. I guess now that they have some idea as to what it is, they are wanting to be more thorough with anything that can show up on the monitor. His Uncle lives in Florida and has been asked to come in for test and they have sent for his medical records so they can check and see how much his heart disease has progressed over the period of time since his disease was discovered. Of course, we are all terrified but have hope that it can be controlled to some extent over the years. All of God's miracles are with him as well as the wonderful Specialist in the Atlanta area. Sadly, he did come home from his t-ball game in some pain and started complaining about his heartbeat hurting again. For now, his ball games are over until something new comes to light. It is something that he will NOT outgrow. It will only get worse with time unless they discover something in the future to help him. I again ask for prayers for this precious little 4 yr. old that is trying very hard to understand what his new "Rules" for everyday living are and why they have suddenly changed. Actually, for a spoiled rotten, lovable little boy, he is taking what he understands very well. He is asking alot of questions and Mom and Dad are trying to tell him everthing he needs to know at this point as to not terrify him. I am getting old and have been through alot and seen alot in my time, but, I find all of this hard to understand myself!!!!!! He is only 4 and is 150% all boy and it is only now beginning to show up. Seems if it is inherited there should have been some kind of signs of it to start with. Jayden does have a 2 yr old brother, Brayden, that is all boy also. We can only pray that it does not show up in him also. Brayden is the one that never even crawled and is only now learning to slow down and walk,(Sometimes). He went from scooting across the floor to getting up running and has not shown any signs of slowing down since his feet hit the floor! He gets into everything! You can not turn your back on him for a second! Thanks for just being here to listen and continual prayer would be appreciated. Hugs to all
