Thinking of you dear friend, it is a tough time and you will find every year will bring back memories, but they will get easier to bear as each year passes.
Hugs and love, me

Sorry to read you are a bit teary Pauline - as \Meg says it will get easier. I love thinking of the good times and I'm sure you have many memories of your Dad.

Time has a way of healing our hearts and as I said above you will always have him in your memory.

Love and blessings Chris

Your tears are a tribute to your Dad. Try to remember the good times and the laughter. And it is OK to miss him and to be teary. Hugs to you on a difficult day.

Pauline, as the day goes on and your thoughts turn from sad to bittersweet, it will get easier. If you are like most, the sorror and the pain comes first and then the wonderful memories will follow close behind. Those wonderful memories will give you the happiness that you need and are searching for. You Dad was a wonderful part of your life and will continue to be forever. It will get easier for it will not be so long before all of your sweet and loving memories will take the place of the sad hurting ones. Those wonderful memories are the ones you will cling to forever.
Both of my parents are gone and it was hard at first but as time has pasted, it is the funny, loving, and happy times that are remembered. My son was only 5 when his Papa left us and until today, that is my one great sorror. He was not old enough to remember how much his Papa adored him.
Try to think of the wonderful times and your day will get better for you will realize that the good memories are the strongest ones and so much closer to your heart. Hugs and prayers, Linda

sometimes special days are hard. But try to treasure the sweet and happy memories of the time you could spend together.

Pauline
Hope your day gets happier as it goes along. I have lost both my parents & hardly a day goes by that I don't think of them even if it's only for something silly. I feel they have visited me at those times. Chin up my friend.
