This doily is Threads n Scissors # TSB025 crochet lace doily 1, and measures 12" in diameter. After doing the butterfly doily, I learned to join the panels before I rinsed the WSS away - and used the hair conditioner. This doily is much like what our mothers and grandmothers made. I think that the design is another spin on the pineapple style doily. These are so neat to do, and actually stitch out rather quickly. This design has 8 panels of 10,498 stitches. I did this in 40 Wt Polyester in top and bobbin. Don't you just love those little picot stitches around the edges?

Oh yes, the picot stitches make this doily look more like a handstitched one - I love it - great work Beth.

Looks great and yes, I love the little picot stitches around the edges. I have got to get busy and stitch up some of these.
