I tried to stitch that police design but it tore my paper - and now I don't know where I got the design from. I have stitched plenty of others and had great success - they are such a fun gift/gag.

You can find several free designs on www.sewforum.com
I use Charmin tissue - heavy is better. Put a nice heavy stabilizer behind it. It is trimmed to the size of the tissue when the emb. is complete and remains behind the design. Use the 4 or 5 square to place the design on, this gets you away from the end and wrinkles. Very dense designs do not work well on the tissue.

Looks great Carolyn I have done lots of them untill I started just making a sleeve to go around the roll.that way they can be used over and can change the design.

I was afaid to but i watched a blob i think it was on sick on how to do these & then i got brave.I did half to buy a small sharp needle & that helped Carolyn
