Hi grammy, I have Embird 2006 Build 5 and am still investigating it. I have made many changes to patterns, delete stitches, rearrange stitches and change colors to suit wahat I want. I have digitized several patterns and made several of my own and am happy with the program. BUT I do need to really study using the program for digitizing but am very happy with it.

I use Embird 2010 and love it. As Meganne said, you can find many answers about Studio in 'software' on the left. Try out the trial version - which is exactly as the paid version, but you can't save the designs.

Father christmas bought it for me to my request but I haven't gone far with it. I resize design, I run the sew simulator and created some text. It's as far as I've been able to do !!
I saved on the side those sites to help me but I need time to go throw them.
I guess you need to learn a lot to use it and after it is fun according to my friends cuties.
Good luck

I've used Embird for 2-3 years and love it. Those that don't, as with any other tool, haven't spent the time learning how it operates.
I would strongly encourage you to go beyond the initial software investment and purchase some of the tutorials out there. You may as well get out of the program all that you can since it's not cheap. :-) Good luck!
