The other day after posting the last pic I thought the quilt was missing something. Remembering how much my Mom loves purple, I bought a piece of lovely purple cotton. I have cut out the sashings and they will be about 2: final size. Looks sew much lovelier now. This same purple fabric will be border #1, and then the pastel stiped fabric you see will be the outside border which will tie in the flannel that I bought for the backing.
Hope to get top finished today as I stayed home due to terrible teeth problems (Emerg dentist appt tmrw).
p.s. Thank you all for your continued prayers, I hold them dear to my heart as our good Lord does too :)

Thank you ladies for the wonderful compliments. I hope and pray my Mom will be able to enjoy this quilt for years to come too. I did get the top finished :) Tmrw I will cut out the backing and hopefully get it pinned tgtr before I work.
