and very thoughtful - to our needs - we can't say thank you enough, nor can we tell you how much it has meant - but as I write this - I want you to know - that my eyes are leaking and my heart is full of love and gratitude to you for being you and doing this for us. Today, Rick went for his last PET-Scan - we will not know the results for another week or so - but we are hoping that the blood clots are gone and that he will either get that filter taken out or they will know that they need to leave it in and he will continue with the medicine for what they call thinning his blood - he has a new medicine for his blood pressure - that appears to be working - at least today - his BP was down much more than in the most recent past. He ate his full dinner and wanted a bowl of sugar-less ice cream - which is more than usual. He also had Occupational Theapy today and I learned a new way to wrap his wrist and hand to help with the swelling, too. I am hopeful that he will also be able to go to Physical Therapy and he can get back to doing his home exercises without worry of his BP going up - as most times it helps it to go down. I have been praying and asking God what he would want us to do and to help us get to the place to do it - as we know - that we will never be doing the things that we have done in the past - the same again. I feel good about how things are going - we are getting by - one day at a time and for that I will be always grateful - I have my husband and we are both struggling with some health issues - but we are here and we have now. My God Bless us all.
We don't always see the bigger picture, but I know there is one and there is also a promise of better things to come.
I believe that, at some time in our lives, we are just asked to prove we are worthy of it.
Hugs and love, Meganne

I am so pleased to read that Rick is improving - day by day - that b....y blood pressure is a nuisance isn't it? I have been on BP tablets for about 5 years and would love to come off them. Maybe one day!
In the meantime keep up the great work and as you say "one day at a time" every little step helps out. I pray that God will heal you both and that your future will be bright. Love and blessings Chris
Love Chris
enjoy what you have now, all the best Kerry
