Here in Portugal we had Mother's Day on Sunday, 2nd May. I embroidered this picture, in photo stitch, framed it and offered it to my mother. She loved it. I think the picture doesn't do justice to its colours. Any way, What do you think?

I think this is very beautiful. The delicate pastel colors to emphasize the goodness and the kindness of the Madonna. Darker colors give a better contrast, but perhaps make the picture look more closely. To find out, we would have put two versions side by side. I find you beautiful! Hilde

Thank You Hilda! In the photo, colours faded a little. Though pastel, they are more vivid than it appears. Why not try one with darker colours?
