My Sister gave me the gold and black material to play with. So Using the Sewing Revolution -Double Mitre Ruler I made 4 of these place mats for her and a tablerunner. It was so easy to do.

Thank you Yvonne, She hasn't received it yet. I'm a bit slow in making it. She'll get it next week . as she only lives and hour away but works most days as well.

Very fine fabric and looks fantastic. At first I thought it was an embroidery design from Emblibrary. They have a similar design in the package. ***

thank you Hilde. The centre comes out and can be washed separately.I could make more for the centre . The black is done by using the ruler.
