But then you see someone else's project and there is the same design and it looks absolutely gorgeous on their project!

don't you just hate when that happens. Especially when it turns out to be something that was free, you passed on it then spend time kicking yourself in the butt for passing it by. (sigh) happens to all of us I'll bet ;-)

It happens to all of us. That's why I DL almost all of the free designs that I have found. They are organized and easy to find. If I use a free design and it stitches out poorly, I delete it from my files.

I hate that if I have spent time to stitch out and it stitches out poorly, i also delete it from my files.

mt "murphy's law" moments are passing up on a design and in a matter of weeks needing that exact design for something and not remembering where the heck I saw it at hahaha

I download everything for that exact reason! Never know when a friend or family may think its cute and want it on something-lol. And your right-I've seen designs that I thought "What would you ever use that on?" and then seen a project that was super cute. I also add subtitles to the names and have them in catergories so they would be easy to find.

I have downloaded sooo much my computer is packed! I try to be selective but seems like every time I pass on a design a little later on I wish I could remember where I saw it!
