May 14, 2010 - I just ordered some mylar! I'm so excited... I'm going to start digitizing some designs and have a ball when the shipment arrives. :-)

Does anyone know of a UK supplier so that I can play too?

I would email Sharon and ask her if she ships to the UK. When I went through the check out stage of my order, I had to select which country I lived in... maybe she does ship overseas. :-)

Teri, is the material like plastic or something? How would ironing you garment be affected? TIA

I haven't a clue Monica... I haven't tried using mylar yet, but according a tutorial I found online, heat and cold don't affect the product. I'll let you know. :-)

Good luck with this - maybe I can see some of these if we can get together when I am in your area in a couple weeks. Hugs

Good luck Teri - I just can't figure out - if you can wash this stuff or not - don't want to put it on anything - that needs washing - if it will just fall out. Have fun! I received my mylar from Sharon in a very short time.

I embroidered a test design. Washed it in regular cycle, dried in dryer, then ironed from the back side. No problems at all. Looks great. DO NOt use mylar balloons. Color runs and it peels off.
