why not put a letter "V" point up or down??!!! You could use a small alpha or a pretty monogram letter

You could use a letter P for private parts and maybe her initial for the others.

You could just put FACE (or even a face) on some and leave the others blank.
There are some cute doll faces in designs by Cuties.

I think I would put some pretty little flowers on the face cloths and a little pair of feet on the ones for the lower half. Then she could enjoy seeing the flowers.

If you have time to search in Designs by cuties, there are designs by Castelyn (embossed) that says "face", "butt" and also one that says "feet". Hope you can find it. I tried, but my computer is a bit temperamental tonight, and very slow.

Oh my goodness - I am so sorry to hear that you mother has taken a fall and will be bed bund for 6 weeks - I do believe a pretty little floral design for upstairs such as the 1st link and perhaps a cute little bear design for downstairs/bear-bottom - Hehehe!

Thank you everyone for taking the time to reply. I think I will use Castelyn's embossed designs. The flannels are are only 12inches square so the baby sized ones will be perfect. Think I'll use different pastel coloured thread. Better crack on. She wants at least half a dozen making ASAP!
