shirlene they are so much fun to make the closure at the top is Caeprnters metal mesuring tape you pull it open and it snaps right back closed when you realis it. yhank you .

these are just darling! When you say the top closer is carpenter's measuring tape, do you mean you just cut up an old measuring tape and insert a portion in each side? (how clever!!)

yhank you Yes I do mean that you round the ends so no one gets cut on it and put it in the casingprinted side to the out side of the bag pull on the tab abd it opens then snaps right back closed
