The operation in itself was very painful and the night after terrible. But the next day all seemed fine. I have perfect nearby vision in the one eye so reading etc does not seem to be much of a problem although I do get tired quickly. Driving a bit of a problem but I stick to the quiet, known and back roads and cope fairly well. The operated eye has hardly any recogniseable vision but hopefully when settled in a months time I will be able to get temp spectacles until the stitches are removed in about eight months time. Then we will be able to see what the success of the op was. I am however extremely positive and just know it will be good. In the meantime I stick to doctors orders. Take the medicine and patiently awaits the outcome.

Thank you Shirlene. I've learned especially here on Cute that my problems are minute compared to what I read about the other Cutes and then I am amazed at the attitude, willpower and positive spirit most of you portray. Here is a lot of people I truly admire including yourself.

Eleen, glad you are doing as well as possible. As the others have said, do what the doctor orders, even though it is hard to do sometimes. God bless, Judy *4U

Great to hear that you are doing as well as you are -- continue to be a "good" patient, and keep us updated as to your progress! You have a positive attitude, and as you say, that is half the battle. We will continue to pray for you as you recover.
Blessings,
