for at least a year - that he could get his arm and hand working - maybe not like they were - but working in that time frame - so we are praying that he does know what he is saying - I believe this is a man of God - so I do believe him - I am praying for this to come true - because I believe in the power of prayer, too. When he was all through with Rick and he had said that he was a man that had those belief's too - I gave him an ANGEL and I think he almost cried - he was so touched - I was never more proud of doing anything like that in my life. He said that he believed that God had something for Rick to do and he would do it - when he was better. Isn't this GOOD NEWS?

Chris, now wipe your tears - thank you for believing too. I do believe that with the sort of prayers being said on Rick's behalf - that he will continue to improve - it may take some time - to reconnect those circuts - but at least we have the time, now. Love!

Marvelous Shirlene.Been through it all with Ron, He has never gotten his fine motor strength back in his left hand but Only my self knows this, I still push him to use the left hand as much as possible, I remember playing all kinds of marble &rock games & insisting he keep his right hand behind him & use only his left to pick up marble/ rock or whatever, encouragement every step of the way. this is the way we make it happen. He sometimes has problems with dropping things with left hand but there are ways to get around it. Keep on keeping on little lady. cheers for u & him. *

Glad Rick is doing well, sometimes the road to recovery seems so long and takes a lot of determination on the patient's part and tough love for the family. Just keep encouraging him and tell him how proud you are for his hard work to do the exercises and he will do well I believe. Tell him don't give in or give up. God Bless you both. Sara

Praise the Lord Shirlene! What wonderful news. It sounds like this Dr. is providential also. Ps 30:"Thou has turned for me my mourning into dancing; thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness" Stay encouraged in the Lord. It will be a long road ahead of you both, but start each day in prayer and praise, that will give you strength to make it through each day. There is a scripture where the Lord says not to think about tomorrow or the days past, but to think about today. I'll have to look it up, but that's what I recommend, taking it one day at a time and not think about how much longer you have before you see results or healing. Healing comes everyday, with the mind first and then the body. Some people call it positive thinking, I call it waiting on the Lord and drawing strength from Him. :)
