the opening is three fourths of an inch..I don't have a metric ruler so I don't know the correct size in metric

I forgot to mention that I stopped my machine when the bubbles were going to sew out because I wanted them a different color..they would have stitched with the blue color around the yellow on the face..and for those who don't know..I use the same fabric on the back as I did on the front..will post the backside of the next one tomorrow..
