Adventures. Besides some delightful shopping, we were able to sit down for coffee and tea, and chatted. She is a wonderful woman whose husband and mine have ties to a town an hour west of Richmond.

Would love to reconnect and get to know her better; we were able to exchange information and I hope to meet again.
Cuties, our messages made this meeting possible and I thank you and Miss Veronika for the opportunity.

Glad you had the opportunity to meet and had a nice time. It is always nice to place a real face to the avatars.

Carolyn, I agree; you're up in MD. Perhaps NH and I could find a time to meet you half way! Would you be 'up for it'? She has a 'real' job, so her schedule is tighter than mine, but we'll see. It's so good to get together.

It really was a very enjoyable morning! Besides our husbands having a connection to a family in a small town just west of here, we discovered several other things in common, too.
I also hope we can get together again! Jacquiline is such an enjoyable person with lots of embroidery knowledge I hope to gleen!
Thanks Cute Embroidery for making this "friend connection"!!!

nhsmith55, so happy to hear that you made a CUTE family connection and isn't it wonderful - when you find out so many great things - that can bring you together again? Hope you got/get pictures!

Well, thank you, NH. So sweet of you to say. I'm the one hoping to gleen some sewing knowledge from you, with your interesting career choice! I had fun that morning and would love a repeat visit in a week or two.
Nope; no pictures yet, Shirlene. Forgot to bring a camera. Loved your photos of you and Twee.

Yes it is; in this virtual world it's easier to do the on-line meetings or teleconference, but nothing takes the place of a one-on-one encounter.

Dear Jacqui and 'nh'did you take any photos of your encounter?

We would all love to see what you look like and where you had coffee, tea etc.

Love and blessings Chris

P.S. and yes, it's always great meeting up with like minded souls.

Chris, it was great. No, we didn't bring cameras. Wish it had been a real 'tea house' but it was at a Panera Bread Company (a chain restaurant) and we did have to rush away. Love your cute little tea bear. Perhaps we should plan a future meeting in a real 'tea room'.

Thanks; it was a happy meeting. She is adorable and is a wonder in the sewing world. My son tells me that with video conferencing perhaps we could set up a ocnference call with a group, in the future.

Cute friends are the greatest cause you share the same interest. I know cause lbrow and I finally got to met a few months ago after talking via telephone for about 6 months. She has taught me a lot about emb.

How great for you both nanniesara. Perhaps a Cute Cruise is in our future with stops around the globe. Wouldn't that be fun? We could even have lots of seminars from the major embroidery machine manufacturers. Wow. Perhaps we need to start making name tags with our Avatars on them.

Jacquiline, I am so happy for you - isn't it the very best - when you find someone - just by chance - that you have a great time chatting and find so many common interests? The great thing, too is that your husband's did as well. That place called Quilting Adventures sounds like a wonderful place to met. I hope you have many other visits. CONGRATULATIONS!

I must admit, Utah is on my 'wish list' of places to go to visit my 'virtual' friend' Shirlene! Our DH's have not met yet, but probably have lots of history in common.
