I know as long as I have played on the computer, I should know how to do this, but, How do you bookmark on of these designs so you can go right back and find it? My son is the computer genius but has no, none, nada, zilch, patience nor the will to explain anything unless it is to his benefit, so will not answer any questions for me. I am 100% self taught and only learn from him when I am standing behind him when he is on the computer. When he does on a very rare occasion answer a question, he gets so techinal and drags it out until I am lost most of the time. I watch him everytime he gets on the computer but since he is no longer at home(mine)I do not get very many free looks over his shoulder. He did show me how to scan my CD for a virus last night after reading jrobs warning on the XXXstitch designs on DBC. I was out of floppy disc and the designs were so large that I copied them to a CD. All these years, and I did not even know how to use my Security to scan a CD. Thanks ahead of time! Linda

By the way,FYI, I use floppy disc most all of the time along with a copy on my desktop. My Babylock Ellageo uses floppy disc in the machine. I also have a Old Singer XL100 and a Babylock Esante. They only use memory cards, so I save the designs on computer so I can download them to a memory card if I ever need to. So far, I have done that maybe 10 times over the years. I just use what designs I have for them and do not use the machines very often. I want to sell the 2 older machines (like new) but am afraid that if I do, I will need one of them for something. Different designs, different taste of a potiental customer, or maybe having to have the Ellageo in the shop OR maybe just selfish because I know I will never be able to afford another machine, but I have found it hard to get rid of either of them. They have been used so little since I got the newer one and they are really just like new machines. Actually the Singer has the prettiest stitch on it but it is by far the hardest to use because I have to learn all over, everytime I try to sew on it. It all comes back once I get started but it is few and far between when I actually use the 2 older machines. The built in monogram on the Singer has one letter (S) I think that is slightly off set from the other and Singer never fixed it. They kept telling me that as soon as Singer got it fixed that they would reprogram it for free but I do not think they ever even tried. It was not very long before they came out with their 2nd embroidery machine. The machine is getting old but it has not been used very much, been serviced and kept clean and does not have a scratch on it. It looks and sews just like it did the day I brought it home.
