It's actually that opal looking paper you see baskets wrapped in. Just be sure you don't get the cellophane type as it's not washable. It just gives the design a sparkle, but needs to have stitches over it in order to hold it down. Excess can be torn away after stitching. Try a craft store to see if u can find any.
