QUESTION PLEASE: When would you use Mylar thread using a full fill-in vs Mylar fabric to applique? Thanks so much Cuties! :-)

I hoop a piece of stabilizer & mylar together & do a stippling stitch. I then just use it like a piece of fabric for any applique design. I have done this to several designs & have had very good luck with it. Pat
