I am a crochet lover, have to have something in my hand while sitting in front of the tv at night so I've made quite a few things that I mostly give away and as gifts.
Last year I decided, while my hands and eyes are still working, to make sets for each of my grand children, for their homes when they marry.
I had stored them in paper gift bags but was told that they should be in acid free paper and searched for some in Michaels and Joannes but without luck. So I asked one of the women in Joanne's and she advised me to use 100% cotton to wrap the sets.
I bought a nice patterned material and made these bags to store each set. I also took pictures of myself presenting a piece to each grand child for when they finally open the bags.
I've done sets for four of the grand children and will begin a set for the fifth soon, but then this year, God Willing, I'll have two new grand children and will continue to make these sets for each new grand child.

I'm pretty sure you can get a dozen sheets for about $10 US shipped.
You may be ok with the fabric, I just have never heard that.
You have some very lucky grand children.;)
