Your house looks great. Here in Pretoria there are a lot of flags at the shops and on the main roads. As the time draws near more and more cars also have flags on which you can buy from hawkers on the side of the road at traffic ligths. It is going to be a big event.

This is just lovely, and I like too !!!!! I am also lucky to live about 20 min drive from one of the host Cities, Cape Town, and plus minus 10 min. walk from the stadium where people can come and watch the soccer on the big screen. I am not a big soccer fan, but my husband and sons do, and I do enjoy the hype we can feel here already.

I can see you are really into the soccer spirit. We live about 22 km from the main stadium in the host city. My husband pass it on his way to work everyday. Although our country host this event a lot of us are more used to rugby and are not big soccer fans probably only as we do not really know the game. But I am happy as we have a longer than normal school holiday - the schools closes in 2 weeks for just a bit more than 5 weeks. I know that the ~Australian team are staying a few km from our house and is practicing at the stadium around the corner from where we live. You are most welcome to come and visit.
