While i was hand sewing the binding to my table runners my machine was sewing this little angel.My question today is::Has anyone used these new pot scratchers (beside the angle)I bought this at a craft sale for three dollars & it is made out of (not sure how to spell this)Old crinnalyne material & its very scratchy.Hope you can see & understand what i am trying to say Carolyn

yes....I've had these scratchers before, and they work nice! Around here, though, we can get them REAL cheap...usally around a dollar each. But...they are totally worth the $$$ you paid...they last long and work great!

Yes it is to scrub those dirty dishes:(:(Anything to help when you have no dishwasher but yourself HA!HA!

I could not stand not having a dish washer got one when I was young and have had one ever sence I just can not stand at the sink washing dishes can hardly stand long enough to cook.
Oh dear Lenamae i threw mine in the dump cause i never used it & when i did it would leek as the seals dryed out from not using it!!!Thats my story & i am sticking to it:):)Carolyn

Carolyn, love your angel and remember the days as a little girl wearing those scratchy cainoline petticoats under my dresses. Thanks heavens someone has a GOOD use for them! I imagine they would clean a pot well as they certainly took the skin nearly off my skinny little legs!

Yes, those pot scrubbers are fantastic. They do a great job on non-stick pans. We only pay about %1 - $1.25 for them a craft fair / flea markets here in Florida. Sometimes they crochet 2 circles and then single crochet the 2 together. I haven't tried to make any myself, but always said I would. One more project I never seem to find time for.

My family and friends are always asking for these. I have made lots and lots of the pot scrubbers. Very easy to crochet and I get the netting from Newark Dressmakers Catalog on a 3" spool. The scrubbers work on lots of other things besides pots. Have fun with it!! Mary Anne
