Boo305 asked of a way to pull straps or bands through so that hands don't get so sore. I have used this way always. I made a sketch, but could not get the photo loaded in my answer to her. Thought I could try it here. Hope it works.

That's the way I do it too. I find it especially useful when you want to insert a cord for filling, just make the tail long enough and it's in its right place after turning.
