someone feels a need to be cruel. I am so grateful for the kind and generoud people on this website. I have been helped, supported and prayed for by so many of you. I want to go on the record that I have enough grief in my life. I want to support and be supported by the members. For those who feel a need to citicize, think about how you would feel if you got the message you were sending. My goal is to be a better embroiderer. I am sorry I am rambling, but it is so upsetting to me to see people treated so poorly.

Point well taken - you are so sweet and kind to think of others in this manner.

I also have been the victim of bullying and hated it. I love this site and enjoy logging on for sharing joys and concerns. I don't want anyone to leave because of a few bad apples. By the way I am doing my best to get your garden up to 200,00. It is 1 of my joys of the day to give you another flower.

I'll second that.

Hi I was the victim of cruel comments and I chose to ignore them. I feel that they don't like themselves very much and have to bring you down to make themselves feel better. Just ignore them and concentrate on the wonderful people here that are helpful generous supportive and kind. Don't let a few spoil it for the many that are out there who are not like those few. I almost stopped comming here because of it and then I thought why let a few spoil it for me. Thanks for letting me ramble. Suzanne

I feel the same way, but when I read that Manaimi was hopitalized for stress that was the straw that broke my back. I am now living in an area that does little embroidery. My Cute family keeps me sane, so I don't want to lose anyone. And you were on target, not rambling.
Thanks so much! Keep with us and you will be fine. After a while when the meanies don't get responses and they are ignored they will dissapear.Remember it takes two to argue and if you don't engage they look elsewhere to do their dirty deeds. Suzanne

Well said. And I think 99.9% think the same. It is so much nicer to hear and say positive things.

I am hoping that the few problem people get the message and either straighten up or leave.

And here we go again. It is always a small percentage who criticize. I don't know why they do what they do and at this stage of my life I really don't care. I refuse to let their problems become mine. I have enough going on in my own life to have to deal with mean, petty comments directed at me. Grow up and try to remember... What goes around comes around. To those who have been the recipients, I feel for you and hope you don't judge the whole site by a few negative people.

There's only a few here that try my patience, but like you...they don't exist in my world. I think they wake up mad and stay that way....all day, night years, forever. And being critical seems to run in cycles here. Maybe it's the full moon??? LOL

Yes, people tend to get brave behind a keyboard. If some of the things were said face to face, I think people would have more than 'hurt feelings'. LOL
My mother always said to me that when someone was being mean and critical to me....they were letting someone else....rest!
I've found that people who are mean here are probably mean everywhere they go.

I agree with you. I can ignore but when someone gets so beat up that they become sick over it then I get angry. So I vented and now I feel better.

Marthie, I'm NOT trying to be 'smart' but am reminded that on one of the "Big Bang Theory" episodes, Sheldon quoted to Leonard with "and manewar attracts more flies". BUT it is a shame that many people did not learn the lesson, if you can't say something good about a person, say nothing at all!!

Amen to that!

I was really really grumpy last week but I would never take my grumpiness out on someone who gives so much, especially embroidery designs. To get over my grumpiness I talked to a very good friend and gave her all my grumps and felt much better. My friend was happy to help me.

I agree, there is nothing wrong with venting. I love lending a shoulder or an ear, but ripping a person apart in public is NOT venting.

I also was taught if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. If you have something to say which is actually constructive and useful, then say it in such a way as to be kind when you say it. I think someone said hand out a little criticism with two heaping portions of praise. I haven't been on this site very long, but I have already been helped so many times, even if it wasn't a question I myself asked. And the designs by cuties have been wonderful and all the digitizers in the family have been so generous. Mean-spirited people should just be ignored.
