I have a singer futura 250. Have embroidered a few towels with it. Do any of you own one? Have any tips to share? Thick towels are very difficult to hoop...is there an easier way?

I own one also. I hoop the stablizer and then pin the towel topped with Solvy to the stablizer and sew. I've had good success with this process.

This is the same way that I do it. I own a singer futura 250 too. Works well for me.

Thank you...I'll try this. Do you use one or two layers of tear away on bottom? I've been using two.

I don't own Futura, but I love to do towels. This is what works for me, I hoop sticky back stabelizer and then lay the towel in place on top. I place a piece of wash away on the top of the towel. This has never failed me.
