I ust the plastic kind so i can tire away most of it and for sale ore give away i don't wash. You also can tell the person what it is and that they know to wash. I think everybody does that with new towels.

I trim it as close to the stitching as I can and write a little note explaining the process of embroidering and that the towels must be washed before using. Or I tell the person, if I know the gift will be opened in front of me. If I do them for my daughter then I wash them for her.

I always just dampen it with a bit of water just to get rid of the WSS. than just hang it to dry

I never wash towels and I peel of the most of the wss, In little places I use tweezers and then I take a wet cloth tp remove the rest, let dry and tell the receiver to wash the towel before use. Good luck

Hi there, I have a spray bottle with water and just spay on the wss and it comes off very easy. Hugs Yvonne

Bonsoir Claude, the world is small, isn't it ??? I sometime use a light spray but the most of time I do not so anything. I carefully tear away the WSS and if some are remaining (because too small), I tell the person it will desapear when washing. Hugs, Claude, et GROS BISOUS
