Lena Mae, this is adorable - so wonderful for the beach - now I have never heard of this capenters measuring tape - so you will have to tell me - how that works out - OK?

Shirlene the carpenters metal mesuring tape ia a long metal tape on a roll thing it pull out and it stays stiff so you can mesure long things it is metal when you bend it it pops right back. I cut 2 strips as long as I want and round the ends then in sert it in the casing at the top with the numbers facing the out side when you pull it open it will snap right back to gether.
