Where is a good place to order thread? I have purchased thread from threadart. The only problem I've had with it is that it comes off spool on one end. Thread net solves that problem.

This is a very good place to order thread from - I have for awhile and love every spool that I have stitched from - the embroidery looks wonderful when finished stitching and the price is very low. Have a look see and let us know - what you decided.

I have been using Madiera thread, but as soon as I can figure out the conversion to match colors, I am switching to Metro.

I did a poll on Cutie a while back about Metro Threads - got a 100% positive response and I ordered all 166 colors and a gross of pre-fill bobbins. LOVE IT - Had ZERO problems and now I can stitch just about anything without having to go shopping for thread colors!
The spools have a cap on the bottom to lock the thread end so it does not unravel everywhere.

try www. sewingandcraftclub.com - they carry only the best which is Madeira, I have ordered many times to replace the spools in my thread chest by Madeira. Opt for the lowest shipping cost and my last order arrived in only 3 days.

I am using Metro - the large cones, which I ordered via Shirlene and they are fabulous - a great price too.
Unfortunately the large cones don't have thread locks so I have to wind them around in a loop.
