Are you referring to your card writer?

Not sure if this is what you are talking about but the brother site has an update to 1.07 and the drivers for windows Vista if you need it

For sure go to the site bluerhino gave you and I wish you luck, thanks to help and about a half an hour cuties finally helped me update my PED-Basic. I was ready to cry when suddenly it worked! joyceaw told me the following and I finally got it. Also when it tells you to make a temp folder, you don't need to, when you get the box that comes up when you download the designs, double click on the one that downloads from brother and it should be what finally makes your program update. Here is what joyceaw told me"
Make sure you remove the old PED first. To do that you click the start button, then click on control panel. In there you will find "Add or Remove Programs" Click on that and find the PED program. Click the button to remove it.
Then go to brother to download the new one at the link below

Select the version of windows you are using and the language you want. Then the search button. The next screen will be full of instructions... don't worry about them just scroll down to the bottom of the page and find the download button. <br /><br />click the download button and a page will come up where you have to click the "I Accept" button.

Now you will see the download screen. Click "Run" and the program will install.

It only takes a minute or 2 and you will then be able to attache the card writer and see all your designs just as before.
