A friend of my daughter, Peta. who has lost a child too, saw Peta's Rainbow Angel tree and said she would love one too. So this is how it's come about. Peta asked me and of course I had to make them for her. The little girl was only very young ( younger than Kai was) so every year around their Birthday a new Angel will be added to the tree, until age 21

You may say that. While these were sewing out, I made (all in a week) 2 pairs of track pants and jacket,2 skorts, 1 short , 2 Pj's for the grandaughter- pj's for both the daughters -size xs and s, pair of track pants AND 3 pairs of track pants for me. While all this is going on I also had top pack up the sewing room as I'm having cupboards built in, compliments of my son, No wonder I had a Migraine last week.

Wow, where do you find the time and the energy?

Just love Sewing Shirlene. Most days I sew, still have to do the mundane chores as well.

What a touching story. The angels you made are so beautiful and colorful. What a beautiful way to honor their daughters memory.
Thank you for the inspiration.

Roslyn, these are lovely and what a special tribute to this friends daughter, too. I noticed that you have made each of the holes in the same color (rather than the color of the angel), was there a reason for that?
