I didn't get the two mixed up. I would hate to think that I had the wrong mechanics working on my machine!
Maarten said it wouldn't take long so I should have it back before the end of the week. I thought I'd do it now as once the kitchen renovations start in a couple of weeks It'll be messy here what with sawdust etc.
So instead of sewing today I rang Amy and she asked me to bring Bella in for a holiday! (after all she is Amy's dog) I dropped her off and had a cuddle with Ophelie - she will be 8 weeks old this week! Time is flying by!
I then went to Spotlight and bought some gorgeous fabric for Aqualina's quilt (can't wait to put it somewhere) then got some lovely napkins for my annual ladies Christmas luncheon. It's traditional this year Red, white/gold and green.
Then I dropped into a gorgeous Kitchen shop called Kitchen Essentials and bought 8 creme caramel ramekins and a bottle of reduced Balsamic vinegar - yummy with a capital Yum!!!!
Dropped back to Amy's around 11.30 and had a cup of tea and a crumpet and then filled up the car with petrol and came home. I've cleaned out the dresser in the dining room and have put all the crockery etc. in the back room cupboard.
I'm just about to clear out the bureau in the loungeroom and put all the crockery from in there out into the back cupboard too! I am so glad it's empty on the right hand side of it. That was where all my sewing stuff was originally and now that I have my cupboard down here in my sewing room it's empty.
It's about 4.00pm Monday afternoon and we are going back into town this evening for dinner at a local hotel for Steve's birthday - Amy's partner. He is 38 today! He doesn't know that we are all coming for dinner to celebrate with him.
Darling Amy gave him a silver ingot with Ophelie's little finger print in it. It's gorgeous - it is actually a key ring and so he'll keep his house/car keys on it. He is smitten with his little girl, it's lovely to watch.
Gee, the young fathers of today are wonderful!
Anyway enough of my rambling. I might just tidy up my sewing room whilst I'm in here.
Love and blessings Chris
It's now Tuesday morning 8.30am - Cooper will be here at 11.00 - thank God he is better, so he should sleep well - well that's the plan!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait for it to come back. Love chris
It feels like someone cut off your arm to be without your sewing machine. It's a very odd feeling.
