different it looked from the designs I had done without the netting.I used some warm water and a soft cloth to get rid of the wss. even my hubby said it really was good.the netting comes in a roll about 8" wide and it seems to hold in all the little pieces of the mylar.

Interesting was it a mylar design? I never have problems with "little pieces" of mylar when I make designs. I am sure using the netting (tulle or bridal netting) adds a whole new dimetion to it. I have seen people say they were going to try shimmery organza and I wonder if the organza frays when washed? I would be interested in hearing from others and how they play around with designs.

Whenever I make lace that I want to be a little more stable or give a little more cover, I have used netting or tulle with good results. I only used 1 layer of WSS when doing this.
