Could you give a little more info. How wide is it, what fabric is it made out of. I am not sure that I know what curtain tape is, so it is hard for me to come up with ideas.

How about if you weave it into a St. Pat's Day table runner? If you google "how to weave rag rugs/placemats/table runners" something should come up.

How about a floor rug? People crochet rugs. Or you could get some thick upholstery cording, wrap the cording with the curtain tape, and then sew it into a rug. I know Nancy Zieman had some of these on her show "Sewing With Nancy". Google making rag rugs.

To make bowls and bags.We had a demonstration of using strips wound around cord,(same cord used for corded bias-binding).Coil into a small circle.Begin to zigzag between the coils. After a few rounds, pull the bound cord a little tighter and carry on joining, this will begin the sides.A great way to use up left over binding stips for quilts.Just overlap the ends when starting a new strip. One could also make mats this way.See pic for the general idea. From Bev
