Chinese writing for them. If someone can help I would most appreciate this. The names are Crystalynn and Joelle. They are 2 of the sweetest little girls, adopted from China, and as the new mom teaches them their heritage, I thought it would be nice to embroider their names for them. Thanx so much to anyone who can help me. Hugs, Judy

What a precious idea; I'm sure they will love to have their names written in their own language. Sorry but we neither speak, read or write Chinese. My husband occasionally does business there though.

I don't know but I thought you can digitize yourself, on this site see link, you can find a lot of names and see how these are in Chinese. Enjoy, hope I could help you with this one and I can't wait to see your project!

What exactly do you want gramsbear. I'm a bit confused. You say you get the Chinese writing for them (and these can also be found on the site gerryvb mentioned - I checked). Can you digitize them yourself or is that what you are asking for.

I know you can digitise - all those snowflake names!! - I mean do you need help how to do those characters. Have you ever used Font Digitising? I know it is part of 3D, to be found under Accessories, don't know where to find that in 4D. Other than QuickFont you can digitise letters by hand in that part of the program. An elaborate process but results are great.
Thanx so much, I will check that out! Don't we learn new things every day?

That is a great idea, hopefully with the suggestions here or maybe someone can digitize them for you once you get the letters. It is interesting to see a name in another language. I had a girl to write my GD's name in Japaneese the other day and she did it very fancy. It is awesome. Good Luck, I may try later to do it in embroidery, once I can get someone to digitize for me.
