my DH's foster brother is having money-health issues. So Bless my hubby, he told him he could move in to the cabin down in the corner....

Well with the foster kids and everything going on, I thought OH NO it was going to be too much to handle....

I HAVE A HOUSEWIFE...YAHOO.. He does the dishes, He has been cooking....I looked out the window a few inutes ago and he was pulling out the lawn mower.....

OH MY GOSH...i got to sleep in this morning, get up and eat a bowl of Tillamook mudslide ice cream...and get to play on my machines.....

I AM IN HEAVEN.....I have a house wife, I have a house wife......yes I am singing and laughing and enjoying my time finally....

I THINK EVERYONE OF YOU NEEDS A HOUSEWIFE...

Deanna, that is wonderful - I would love to have a HOUSEWIFE about now, myself. I am thrilled for you dear. It is great that he is actually paying you all back for staying there - by doing all these things for you - that is just great news.

Lucky you, and glad that it wowrked out for you. When my hubby retired he stated that if I continued to work that he would do the laundry, the floors, outside work, and the floors, but WOULD NOT touch the kitchen, or shopping. It has worked well for us, even if he fusses about his Cinderfella chores. Good Luck with the "housewife".

Enjoy your well-earned help. We fostered over 70 children and I know the extra work that is put into that, physically and emotionally.
You and your husband sound a wonderful couple to me.
You've been sent a special person and a special time - enjoy every minute of being helped.

LOL beware pride comes before a fall. But hey lady enjoy it before some woman in cuties comes and grabbes him from you. money is the root of all evil and if she can offer more you loose out my friend. wonder if a bag of candy would work instead I can see half the women in here packing cases and heading your way just for the chance to see this miracle.
Joking apart it is so nice to hea you have some help and can take a break now and again I am just so glad tha things are working out for you and as said before who better to understand young ones that have been hurt than one who has been there before them.
you sure he ain't got another brother. we ladies could put up a route and share him a week at a time. happy for you.

I don't think there is any pride involved here......I just happened to get very lucky for a time being and wanted to share the funny situation with everyone.....I know I have many of times in the past, wished I had a "WIFE" to help do all the things I had to do on a daily basis, and most of my girlfriends have jokingly said the same, so when Mike moved in with us and He is doing so much that I normally had to do, my past joking came somewhat true....THAT IS WHY THIS IS SO FUNNY not from bragging or being proud because of it....
