This is my first stitch out of the coasters that sewinhuggs provided in "Designs by Cuties". They are very nice. I'm considering doing one on fabric but trimming away the fabric before stitching the outside boarder and scallops.

It is Beautiful...... You don't know this but my last name start with a F. I think the fabric is a great idea. when I created this design it was because I wanted somthing dainty. A little secret, I am working on jewlery now. Don't tell anyone. I am so glad you like it.

Yes the coaster came out great. I love it and your idea of fabric for the bottom. When I created these coasters I was going for a soft look but for everyday use I agree with using fabric. Have fun with thems. Thanks for the picture.

I also stitched out one of her coasters. I did them on fabric because they will be a sample for a local shop and will be handled a lot. I made 5 of them using the same letter but changed the colors. I love them. They are so easy and quick to do and stitch out beautifully. I will be making many more of them as gifts when friends move to another Base. (My husband is US Air Force, so frequent hellos and good bys.)
