yes you can use ordenary embroidery thread in the bobbin :o)

When you want the back of your Free Standing Lace design to look the same as the front you can use the same color of thread in the bobbin as you use as top thread. This could be the same Polyester or Rayon Embroidery thread that you use for top thread.

Lynn, with FSL - I ALWAYS use the same thread in the top and the bobbin.

I have done some FSL designs but never used embroidery thread in the bobbin. I will try this. Thanks, Shirlene.

Like Shirlene I always use the same thread in the bottom as I do on top.
