a very good girl I went straight to Joann's and got 4 different fabrics, a magazine with an impossible quilt (which I'll post if I ever do it) and my mandatory roll of Necco Wafers! Went alone but still had fun. Then the 3 of use went to Popeye's for lunch. I loooooooove Popeyes. My riding buddy and I used to go there but she's to busy to ride so I don't get there as often as I used to but I sure pigged out yesterday. It was the first time for my friend and her caregiver. I had to giggle here's this 85 year old woman and she's actually sucking on the bones! Guess she likes Popeye's now! Wheeeeee thanks again hugz and kisses - Karen

Sounds like a great day to me. I went to Hobby Lobby on Monday and I am going again with a friend tomorrow. Anf if I could go again, I would.

Not being an American - I assume Joann's is a fabric store, maybe something like our Spotlight here in Australia.
I am so glad you got to spend time amongst the fabrics - it's like an instant fix isn't it?
I felt like a kid in a lolly shop last Thursday with Meganne, Pauline and Irene. There was fabric everywhere - but as I had to catch a monorail and then a train I couldn't carry too much!

You are right it is a fabric store, that carries fabric, sewing supplies and other crafts, They have an online store! It is very nice!
