Thanks Raelene - we don't much of this sort of thing here - I think most people go to Sydney - but that's a 2 hour drive away for us here in Newcastle and just to find places is a nightmare!

Hi Chris .. You should really enjoy John's presentations. I attended one last year and found it very informative and VERY ENTERTAINING! You will just have the best time. His designs are great and I bought some packs and have been very happy with the results. He is doing the same seminar in Sydney in August but unfortunately I cannot attend this year. I'm sure you won't be disasspointed .. Have fun and enjoy. Take your money (or should I say your credit card!!) with you!!

Yes, I know he is attending Sydney - I have been sent the flyer from ECHIDNA sewing Club and that's why I was so interested in attending Newcastle.
I have paid my fee and now just have to wait - we get morning and afternoon tea and lunch included. So it should be a good weekend. I thought that was very reasonable $199.00. I have never sewn any of this designs so am looking forward to seeing what he does. I am not a digitiser, but am interested in the process.

Go and have a wonderful time. I joined his club a couple of years ago so have a lot of his design packs. I have never had a problem with any of his designs. He is funny, but he knows the digitizer side of embroidery. I have been able to participate in 2 of his seminars and I would go again if I had the opportunity.

Have heard very good things about his seminars Chris, would be nice if you could find someone else in your area to attend with always nice to have company, but then these groups are usually very friendly so I am sure you will have a great time and bring back some great ideas...hugs Glenda x0x0x

Thanks Glenda, I hope so too. You never know I may meet someone else who is on Cute but doesn't contribute towards the posts. Tubby can't come which is a pity - he's the only one up here that I know who is on Cute.

Thanks for asking the question - a shop in Phoenix, Arizona is sponsoring him in November and I was trying to decide if I wanted to spend the money to go or not - seems he has glowing reviews - may just have to go!

Well, the weekend here just to attend is $199.00 Australian Dollars - people can come and stay in the Motel but that's extra. As I only live a 20 minute drive from the city I'll attend daily. I hope you get to go.

Please let us know what the seminar is like .Husband has broken his ankle ,damaged his knee as well as other things going wrong.Have a new machne waiting for me in Newcastle but just getting there is going to be hard, let alone going to the seminar ha ha.I could think about it for next time.

Look forward to hearing about your weekend, sounds as if it will be BRILLIANT. My knowledge of John Deere is limited but I am aware the designs are of a very high quality. I also know about the tractors of the same name there are many around me, some of them are huge

Hi Chris. Sorry I can't help you with this one either, as the only thing I know about John Deer(e) is tractors and farming implements. hehehe... Hope you have fun though. Can't wait to see what you make using his designs. :)
